What's Her Story?

Like a lot of women, Susan is a busy woman. Working full time in the corporate world, and balancing that with her passion for writing isn't easy, but her drive to succeed and the support of her family and friends keep her motivated.

Susan wrote her first poem at the age of six, and fell in love with the written word - especially poetry - right then. She continued writing through her entire scholastic career, and fed that love by reading nearly everything she could. She served as an editor on her high school's arts magazine in her senior year, and discovered that she had a good eye and a natural propensity for the craft.

After a long hiatus during which she focused on raising her child, Susan returned to her love of the written word at the urging of a new friend and publisher. Late in 2010, Susan's first poetry collection was published. A Song for Me was the first of many dreams come true for the poet.

Susan is currently working on a second poetry collection, and is co-authoring a collection of short stories.
